"Of course the workers know how serious it is, but they also know that the best way to fight the nasty effects of the crisis is distribution of wealth through increase in wages. That?s why IGMetall?s demands are more than fair. (...) We?ll inform the workers (especially the ones at German companies) about your struggle and ask them not to accept any extra production that could eventually harm your strike. You can count on the 1,2 million metalworkers we represent."
